When it comes to roof cleaning, we have half a decade of experience in the industry, using only high-quality products and equipment to ensure that your roof is cleaned thoroughly without causing any damage. As a safe pass certified team who are licensed to use cherry pickers, we can clean even the highest and most awkwardly positioned roofs. Alongside providing traditional moss removal, power washing, and dirt scraping, we use government-approved biocides to restore your roof’s natural colour and stop dirt and debris from building up again in the future. By applying these repellent chemicals to your roof after a cleaning service, you can rest assured that your roof will stay cleaner for longer, resulting in a fresher and cleaner look to any home or business property.
Professional & Safe Roof Cleaning
Unlike most roof cleaning companies, which require access to the roof for cleaning, here at CleanPlus we use high-reach equipment including cherry picks to ensure that we don’t have to stand on your roof wherever possible.
Not only does this result in a more thorough and long-lasting clean, but it avoids any damage to tiles and slates by causing unnecessary pressure on the structure. By working off the ground, our roof cleaning services are safer and less damaging to your property overall.
Gutter, Fascia & Soffit Cleaning
As part of your roof cleaning service, we also provide professional gutter cleaning with fascia and soffit cleaning as standard. We use high-reach equipment and professional products in all of our gutter cleaning services to avoid damage to your guttering system.
To effectively remove dirt and debris that may be causing blockages, we work with industrial-sized vacuum cleaners for guttering services that are effective, long-lasting, and minimally invasive.
We can clean gutters up to 3 storeys from the ground as part of your roof cleaning package, and use height platform machinery to clean above 3 storeys.

Roof Cleaning FAQ
How much does it cost?
If you go to Google earth https://earth.google.com/web/ type in your address and find your house. You can use the measuring icon to measure the surface area of your roof. Our price range is between €7 and €15 per square meter.
Can pressure washing damage my roof?
Not if done correctly
There are many incorrect ways to clean a roof most common is using a lance and walking all over the roof as if you were cleaning a driveway. This method has a good chance of cracking roof tiles which in turn can cause leaks and there’s also a chance to dislodge the roof tiles that can slide off the roof even at a later stage.
There are specialised roof cleaning equipment that lowers and sometimes nullifies these risks. Click the link below to see an example of this kind of equipment

Will using bleach discolour my roof?
It’s possible it all depends on what type of roof tiles or slates are on your roof.
Because there are so many types of roof tiles/slates it’s not possible for me to say here which ones will discolour and which will not. Best thing we can advise, if you’re planning to do it yourselves, is spray the chemical to a small area of the roof that’s out of sight and leave it for a few weeks and check later for discolouration, this is not full proof thou as some chemicals could take longer than a few weeks to show signs of decolouration, so caution is advised.
Overall we have come to believe that biocide based chemicals are a much better alternative to using bleach.
Will pressure washing my roof cause leaks?
Yes BUT only if it’s done incorrectly
Your tiles/slates overlap each other; this has successfully kept the rain out for years. The pressure washing should be applied from directly above or at a slant from top to bottom of roof in order to keep this overlap in place thus preventing leaks.
